BIG BEN: BELGIAN DRAFT-MORGAN CROSS GELDING We bought Ben in 2002 as a 6 year old. He was trained to drive by Steve Edwards of Queen Valley Mule Ranch. We have used Ben to plow fields, harrow our riding arena and roads, pull logs in for fire wood, and for pleasure drives. Ben is also an excellent trail horse. Ben is always eager to learn new things. His favorite thing to do in his free time is to be turned out in a field to graze. He really likes to eat wild rose bushes!!! GYPSY: NORTH AMERICAN SPOTTED DRAFT MARE We bought Gypsy in 2007 as a 9 year old. We bought her in Arizona but she is originally from Iowa. She is a registered North American Spotted Draft. Gypsy immediately became the boss of all our horses and that is her personality! She is a confident mare who can do anything!! She rides and drives. She drives single or in a team. When Gypsy isn't pulling a carriage her favorite thing to do is EAT! As you can see by her picture... she takes her eating very serious! |
