How far will you travel to an event? Anywhere within 25 miles of Payson, AZ. That includes Pine/ Strawberry, Kohl's Ranch, Christopher Creek, for example. Call and we can confirm your location.
How do you know where to "start & finish" my event?
We will come out to the location of the event at least 30 days prior to the event and map out the route and plan every detail that you want to include.Are you insured?
We are fully insured and will obtain any necessary permits in advance. We carry full liability insurance that covers our carriages, our horses, our customers and the public in the event of accident or injury. A copy of our insurance declaration page is availbable upon request.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule the event? We offer a refund, cancellation and rescheduling policy that is detailed in our contract that we will follow.
What is your dress code?
Our company as a strict dress code that is finished, professional attair that will complete any event.What if there is bad weather on event day?
If it does rain on your special event we carry blankets and umbrellas in all the carriages. If the weather is too extreme for the event or the horses, we will look to the contract to decide the proper outcome.What happens with the horse manure?
There's no need for extra clean up time. Each horses has a manure bag attached to them to ensure that event is left clean. Accidents may happen but those will be cleaned up also.
How many people does the carriage hold? The Oak Carriage holds 4 adults and 2 children. The Wagonette holds 12 people total.
Will you work at night?
Yes. we have reflective leg wraps on the horse's legs and flashing lights on the back of the carriages.Do your horses work on busy streets?
Our horses are trained to work on most city and town streets. We will evaluate your event prior to your special day and discuss traffic considerantions.How do you know that the horses enjoy their job?
Draft horses are bred to pull wagons. Our horses do not work every day. They are our family pets and are very spoiled. They enjoy the carriage work but they get plenty of time off!Will the horses bite me?
They love the attention and love to meet new people. However, we ask that you only pet the horses on their front shoulder area. The would never hurt you on purpose but accidents happen.How much can a your horse pull?
Well, each horse weighs about 1,600 pounds and they can pull up to 2 times their weight.
How much time do I need to plan for my event? Our contract begins at one hour/ two miles for a set rate, but be aware it takes approximately 20-25 minutes for a horse to travel one (1) mile. We can help you plan accordingly to make sure that your special event is covered and time is not cut short.
Can we take pictures with the horse and carriage?
Yes. We will have to talk about how much time you will need for this so that time is not taken away from your actual event.
