COUNTRY CARRIAGE COMPANY

Country Carriage Company started as a hobby and love for horses. Ask anyone who knows Audra & Phillip Daugherty and the conversation soon turns to driving and draft horses. They have been driving horses and helping others to drive for the last 8 years. Soon they were getting requests to bring their horses to events. This led to the opening of Country Carriage Company, LLC.

Currently, they have two draft-cross horses.

Gypsy is a North American Spotted Draft Mare.

Ben is a Belgian Draft- Morgan cross gelding.

Both horses drive alone or in a "team".

They have two carriages, one is more elegant, for wedding or a small group. The second, is more informal and holds up to 12 people. Country Carriage Company has a distinctive "western" flair. You will not see the traditional white vis-a-vis carriage in their barn. All of the carriages and harnesses fit the theme of your special event.

Country Carriage Company gives horse drawn carriage rides in the Rim Country of Arizona. Our horses have experience in rural and urban surroundings. Safety is our main concern, for both our customer and our horses. We carry full liability insurance that covers our customers, horses, carriages and the public in the event of accident or injury.

WEDDING CARRIAGE RIDES

Create that fairy tale wedding that you have always dreamed of. A horse drawn carriage will add to the romance that your wedding day deserves and a day your guests will never forget! The Bride and Groom can ride off into the sunset to begin their lives together.

Thinking of something different to start off the wedding reception? Why not have a horse drawn carriage escort your guests, wedding party or Bride and Groom into the party. What could be a more elegant entrance? We think so!

THE LAST RIDE

Let Country Carriage Company take your loved one on their last ride. The seats are removable in our 12 passenger wagonette and the casket can easily be placed in the back of the carriage to give your loved one a special and memorable escort to the cemetary. This is a new service offered by Country Carriage as tribute to the many "pioneer's" in the Rim Country. What a fitting tribute to your loved one!

BUSINESS EVENTS

PARADES

Does your business or club want to put an entry in a parade?? Our wagonette can hold 12 people comfortably and banners can be hung down each side of the carriage for promotion of your business or club. Payson is a "western" town...what better way to be seen in a parade than with an old-fashioned horse drawn parade entry. We can even light up the carriage for the annual Electric Light Parade.
